Now without further ado, let’s get into this trailer!
Hawk-Eyes First Family Christmas in Years!
Taking place around Christmas and after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Clint Barton, along with his family, are enjoying dinner in a restaurant.
His daughter says, “This is the first Christmas we’ve had together in years!” Clint responds as the four of them (Clint, Lila, Cooper, and Nathaniel) are holding hands, “I love you guys.” With a content and grateful smile on his face.
As the scene switches, it shows us a street in New York with a Theater promoting Rogers The Musical!
They were giving me some Star Spangled Man vibes from Captain America: The First Avenger. Clint and his three children look like they are walking into the theater.
It appears that Clint is possibly staying in a hotel for their family vacation. In the following clip, the news on the television says that a masked vigilante was terrorizing the underworld, BACK! Referring to Clint Barton’s time as Ronin.
After hearing the news, Clint decides to send his family home because his past has caught up with him. His daughter asks, “Should we be worried?” Clint says, No! And promises to be home for Christmas.
Eye Spy Another Hawk-Eye
In the next scene, Clint is watching the vigilante with a pair of binoculars. Flint confronts the vigilante and pulls her hood off. Then the vigilante, also known as Kate Bishop, with excitement says, “You’re Hawk-Eye!” Clint stares at her with a confused look on his face. Asking who the hell she is!
Kate says that some people call her the world’s greatest archer! The two team up to clean up the city’s crime! Clint seems to be a tad bit rusty when we see him sliding across a zip line to another building falling in the process! But he still kicks***! Kate and Clint are in the hotel room kitchen when Clint’s wife calls. He explains he will be back in a day or two! On a side note, Clint better make it back home Christmas! That would be a nice ending to the series!
Next, a group of bad guys throws a Molotov Cocktail at a window, and Clint breaks the window, catches it, and returns it right back at them! What a beast! Then we see Clint running through a fancy-looking restaurant dodging incoming gunshots from the enemy! He got himself tied up to a chair with a group of bad guys surrounding him, similar to when Black Widows situation in The Avengers movie.
Kate Bishop attempts to zip line into a window but crashes through and falls on her face. Ouch! I have a feeling she’ll be learning a lot this series and becoming a strong character in the MCU.
There is so much action in this trailer! From cars blowing up, gunshots, classic fistfights, etc. There’s a woman with a red dress who, in fact, is Kate Bishop’s mother, Eleanor Bishop! In the comics, she is an evil lady who directs Kate Bishop’s nemesis, Madame Masque.
